DAY 1

Opening Prayer

O Lord Jesus, who was presented in the Temple by Your blessed parents, and recognized by Simeon and Anna as the light of the nations, grant that we may present our hearts to You with purity and obedience. Enlighten us by Your Spirit, that we may recognize Your presence in our lives and serve You faithfully. Amen.

 Theme: Jesus, Presented in the Temple

Scripture — Luke 2:22–24
“When the time came for their purification according to the Law of Moses, Mary and Joseph brought Jesus up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord, as it is written in the Law of the Lord, ‘Every male that opens the womb shall be consecrated to the Lord’.”

 Reflection

From the first days of His life, Jesus submitted to God’s law. The Presentation reminds us to offer our lives fully to God. Our dedication must be conscious, intentional, and daily.

 Daily Intention

For the grace to dedicate ourselves wholly to God in thoughts, words, and actions.

 Prayer

Lord Jesus, I present myself to You today. Accept my heart, my mind, and my will as Your dwelling place. Purify me and use me for Your glory. Amen.

Scripture — Luke 2:25–27
“Now there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; this man was righteous and devout, looking forward to the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.”

 Reflection

Simeon teaches us the power of patient waiting and faith. God rewards perseverance with divine revelation and peace.

For patience and trust in God’s timing.

 Prayer

Lord, grant me the grace to wait on You with hope and faith. Let me recognize Your presence in every season of life. Amen.

 Reflection

Christ is the light of the world. Our mission is to reflect His light in our families, communities, and workplaces.

For the grace to be a living witness of Christ’s light.

Lord Jesus, fill me with Your light, that I may shine in the darkness of this world and lead others to You. Amen.

 Theme: Anna, Prophetess of Hope

Scripture — Luke 2:36–38
“There was also a prophetess, Anna, of the tribe of Asher. She was advanced in years and had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage, and then as a widow to the age of eighty-four. She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying. Coming forward at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke of the child to all who were awaiting the redemption of Jerusalem.”

 Reflection

Anna teaches the importance of vigilance, prayer, and proclamation. Faithful persistence allows us to encounter Christ and share His message.

For perseverance in prayer and the courage to proclaim God’s word.

Lord, give me the grace to remain faithful in prayer and to witness Your love to all I meet. Amen.

“Mary and Joseph brought Jesus up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord, as it is written in the Law of the Lord.”

Reflection

Obedience to God’s law and spiritual discipline opens us to His blessings. Purification of heart is necessary to experience His presence.

For purification of heart, mind, and soul.

Lord, purify me by Your Spirit. Make me holy and worthy to be Your temple. Amen.

 Reflection

To see God’s salvation, we must open our hearts. Like Simeon, we are called to recognize Christ in our lives and respond with praise and obedience.

Lord, open my eyes to see Your work in my life. Give me the grace to accept and celebrate Your salvation daily. Amen.

Christ is hope for every generation. Our lives must be living testimonies of His salvation and mercy to the world.

For the grace to bring Christ’s hope to others.

Lord Jesus, let me be a light for those in darkness, bringing hope and joy through my words and deeds. Amen.

“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.”

 Reflection

Just as Mary and Joseph presented Jesus, we are called to present ourselves fully to God, offering our lives in service and devotion.

For wholehearted dedication to God’s service.

Lord, I offer myself as Your living sacrifice. Use me for Your glory and the good of Your people. Amen.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden… let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

 Reflection

The Presentation calls us to live as lights in the world, reflecting Christ’s holiness, purity, and love in our daily lives.

For the grace to be Christ’s light to all people.

 Prayer

Lord Jesus, transform me into a beacon of Your light. Let my life point others to You in faith, hope, and love. Amen.
